You log in to you battle.net account, and you will see a summary. In the middle you will see the games that are attached. Above the game should be a line "Manage my games" which has a subheading "Add or Edit a game".
Hit this to go to a menu where you will be asked to fill in the product key for the game to be added.

∙ 13y agoAttaching a game to your battle.net account is always free - however, the game itself still has a subscription. That means that if you had an inactive account on your battle.net account it would cost no money to maintain. But to play the game you still need to pay the subscription fees.

∙ 13y agoTo add game time, you'd first need a game card with the code on it (scratch off the silver surface with a coin to reveal it). Then, go to the battle.net home page and log in to your account. You will find World of Warcraft as one of the games listed. Click on it to find the account and billing options.
Here you should find the option to add a game card to your account. Fill in the code from the card and submit it. There should be an immediate confirmation if it was successful and time added.
