Here are the steps, one by one. But you may find it easier just to look down at the last line.
* Click the URL button just above the text box.You should get * Right in between the twin sets of brackets, the , type the words you want them to see, for example, "A Random WikiAnswers Question" * So now you have A Random WikiAnswers Question * After the first "url" type "=" and then paste in your URL. The URL is the whole text in the address box, usually at the top of your browser. It will start with "http://" * For example: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Special:Randompage * That's it! * So your final link will read: A Random WikiAnswers Question Or if you find it easier to just copy an example (as I do!) then look at this one: * WikiAnswers. (Tip: If you hover your mouse over the URL button you'll see the two different ways of using the command.)
You can attach a YouTube video's URL to almost any sort of forum out there. Embedding a video may be a bit more challenging and may not be enabled for your specific forum.

How do you add a URL to Answers.com? Well, it depends where you want to put it:On your profileSimply add the URL as usual. If it's a picture, it will turn into the picture. In an answerSince Answers.com rules don't allow URLs in answers, you need to go to the blue sidebar, click "Add Related Links", and fill in all the necessary information. On a message boardSame as the profile - add the URL as usual. If it's a picture, it will either turn into the picture or stay as the URL; it depends on the URL and picture format.Got any more ideas? Please add them!

First, make sure the picture you're using is actually on the Internet (deviantART is best for this). Then right-click it, click "Copy image location," then paste it where it says "gif URL here" (down below) and take out the star. [IMG] gif URL here[/IMG*]
In other words, I have a website where if I add "?logo=b" anywhere in the URL, it will swap the logo graphic out with another. This is just a goofy I worked on and it is only for me. That is why I'd like to add the variable to the URL, no matter what the URL is. I have seen plugins for things like Google Chrome that redirect, but it globally redirects to only on URL vs simply adding to the URL. Maybe in Windows Hosts file or something else. It has to simply add to the URL already typed, so it doesn't remove you from the page.
To be able to copy and add a url of a web site, you need to high light the url and then click on the copy and come to the page where you want to paste and then right click on the mouse and click on paste.

One can easily add 'add your link' on a website simply by copying the URL of the link and copy&paste it on the website. When it is copy&pasted simply save and the link of the URL will be shown for people to see.
This is a neat pattern in math.
