Open Safari. Now click the + sign on the right side of the screen to bring up the window containing your top sites. Now type the URL in the address bar on the top sites window but do not hit enter. Left click the icon in the address bar for that site and drag it to the top sites window. It will be added to your top sites. To remove top sits click edit on the bottom left of the top sites windows and then click the X on the site you wish to remove.
