well unless you are certified to work on automotive a/c systems you can't even buy freon
in the engine
Same as any other car...attach fill hose fitting to the low pressure side of the system (it won't fit on the high pressure side fitting) and open the fill valve.
If it is an automatic transmission, you add transmission fluid with a long funnel through the dipstick opening.
only authorized machine shops can do this due to enviromental concerns
You don't add Freon as it has R134a not Freon. You add it to the low pressure side which is the larger hose.
Take it to the a auot shop. you can not add freon
If low on Freon it will short cycle. Sensor knows it is low on pressure. Add freon and see if problem goes away.
Contains no Freon. Freon was banned beginning in 1996.
check the back of the compressor, they hide the there on the older models. volvodoctor
I Believe that you add it in the steering wheel. all you need to do is pull of the steering wheel pour the oil in then it flows down into the gear stick. If this doesnt work then you have wasted some of your life reading a comment that wont help you!
Answering "Where do you add freon to your air conditioner in your ford ranger?"
You add freon to the low side fitting, top front,on the ac compressor
