If you look on your gearbox from the front of the car, from underneath, you will see a huge bolt for about maybe 25mm or so that is the drain plug, look for one that has the same properties, it is above the drain plug as common sense tells us, and it could be smaller in diameter but it could be the same depending on your model. That plug on the top is called the fill plug. When your car is at ground level take it off and fill it with appropriate gear oil until it starts drizzling out from the fill plug wait for it to stop pouring and screw it tight. Nothing else to it.
where do you find the filling plug for the gear oil on a 1993 Toyota tercel
THE BOLT FROM THE MANUEL TRANSMISSION FELL OUT lost all the gear oil
A '93 Tercel will take very close to four quarts of oil. Now I am not 100% sure but i think that the tranny will hold close to four quarts of gear oil.
in the engine
I dont think you could change the Transmission oil for the 1996 Toyota Tercel. Its sealed.
When you do a oil change on a 1986 Toyota Tercel it holds 4.5 quarts of oil. As recommended in the owners manual always double check your dipstick after changing the oil and putting in new oil.
Remove oil pan for access
oil chane
4 litres or one gallon
90 weight gear oil.
The engine oil should be changed at least every 3,000 miles on a 1985 Toyota Tercel. An automobile this old should also have the oil and air filters changed at the same time for the motor to run move efficiently.
3 quarts,.. depending on the level of oil the dipstick displays..
