Go to the user you want (or type in wiki.answers.com/Q/user:-The user-). Then click add a message to -the user's- message board.
When will WikiAnswers add new forums?
WikiAnswers has message boards connected with answers, and there are message boards for individual users. In November 2008 we will roll out a new discussion forum where all members of the site can congregate.
Can you add photos on WikiAnswers?
You can only add photos on your user profile. You cannot add a photo in a question; in an answer; or on the message boards.(See the Related question below.)
How are the discussion areas different from the message boards?
Discussion areas here are for discussing how to answer a question, or why a particular change was made to an answer, its question, or its topic. Discussion areas get added to your watchlist automatically when you add its related question to your watchlist, and vice versa. The personal message boards, on the other hand, are for more personal messages, such as a "thank you" for a contribution or a question that isn't of general interest. The message boards can be watched without watching your bio.
Why does WikiAnswers make registry such an overkill issue just to add a message?
Obviously we do not want untrackable people adding messages; besides, message boards are for discussing questions and answers, not idle chat.

It is not currently possible to add people as a friend on the site. Despite this, you can still have friends on the site and chat to them on their message boards. Remember, this is not a social networking site.

The only images that can be displayed on Message Boards are those uploaded onto the Answers/WikiAnswers server. You can display them by posting the URL in the message. The easiest way to find suitable images is to browse Answers.com or WikiAnswers.com.

When answering a question, and you would like to add a related link, look on the blue bar to the left. Click "Add related links." It is located under Question Tools.Once related links are added to a question, look below the question to locate them. Unfortunately this feature currently does not work, instead a message : Adding or editing links is not currently allowed for this question.
