Making lives is simple on Game Maker.
there is an action called "draw lives" use that. go to yoyogames.com/tutorials to get more specific instructions.
in the create event of the object you want to have lives, go to the score tab and drag the "Set lives" action in. in the box, type in the number of lives you want. Click OK. in any event you want it to lose a life (like collision with a ghost) drag the same action in and type -1, and check the relative box. There is a event called "No more lives" in the "other" section in the add event button. Use whatever actions you want in that event. (like "Show high score table" and "Restart game".
If you want to add lives to a previous number of lives, go to the score tab and drag the "set lives" button to the table. Then type in the number of lives you want to add (ex. 5 if you wanted to add 5 lives, -2 if you wanted to lose 2) and set it to relative. This is very important because if you don't set it to relative then it will replace the last number with the new one. Unless you wanted to do that, of course.
this is a stupid question you can add an event by clicking the "add event" button below your list of events, or right click the event list, select add event, then choose the event you would like to add.
A sprite cannot do anything. If you meant "How do you make anobject shoot in game maker 7?" then it's easy.Create an object for your bullet and give it a sprite. Then in the object you want to shoot the bullet add a "create instance with motion" actionwith the bullet specified.Alternatively you could use a "create instance" action and then add an on creation, "move" action to the bullet.
Make a death animation, and make it play when you die. When it's done dying, make it exit.
You can't do it.
There is no feature in Windows Movie Maker that allows you to add an effect to all the clips in your project. Windows Movie Maker is a very basic video editing software application with limited features. Unfortunately, you will have to add the effects individually.
write something like this.... { jump_to_position(mouse_x,mouse_y) } if you have any questions or if it doesnt work just add a discussion
Erm... Please rephrase the question. I'm going to do what I got from it: "How do I embed a game to my site?" The answer to that is: You cannot yet. Once Game Maker Studio is out, you can convert it to HTML5. Just learn a bit of HTML, and you can tell it to slap it onto the page. Free ad revenue galore!
some how
To add anything to Windows Movie Maker, you first have to Import the media into the program. Once you have imported it, drag it down into the Time-line or Storyboard.
You add it to the Audio/Music track.
