To add a related link to back up an answer you have given, click "Add Related Links", which is found on the left toolbar whilst you are viewing a question.
Your links will be checked by a Supervisor and either approved or rejected to appear below the answer.
Links which violate the ToU or are advertising a business will not be approved.

∙ 11y agoYou go to the profile page (?classic at the end of the URL) and click on 'Edit This Page' next to the username at the middle of the top, scroll down from there and you will see the link section to advertise one's website or business.

∙ 12y agoIf you want to include a URL with your answer, you need to use the 'Add related link' function in the left-hand blue panel. Simply post the relevant information in the spaces provided.

The system first looks if there are related questions to your question, if there isn't, simply scroll down and click 'submit'.

How often should you submit a site to search engines?
I wouldn't submit my site at all. I would focus on quality inbound links coming back to my site as well as focusing on the anchor text (your industry keyword) to which the link is embedded in. The search engines will find your site just fine if you have inbound links coming to your site. If you submit anywhere, it should be directories.
