If you want to adjust valves you will have to replace adjusting shims. It's about $8 per piece. Before buying anything you need to measure current gap, then measure the height of the shims and then calculate which new height to need. Then go and buy it.

28-32 degrees is what the dwell is supposed to be. The gap itself isn't all that important if the dwell is correct.
