The idle adjustment screw is on the driver`s side , towards the back of the carburetor , it`s about an inch and a half long , pointing upwards at a 45 degree angle and has a turn valve type knob on it . On the other side of the carb. is a fast idle screw adjustment w/ a screw type head on it , at the bottom of the carb. pointing towards the front of the vechicle , but all I know of this screw is the name . An auto repair manual for each type vehicle is your best bet ! There`s a download repair manual file of one in " 84 Toyota Corolla DLX 1.6L.com " , listings . I know that will help , too !
