Depending on the year/model in all likelihood you can only adjust the idle mixture screw.
You should start at 1-1/4 turns out from lightly seated and slowly move in 1/8 turns at a time until performance is as it should be. NEVER adjust the screw closer than 3/4 turns from lightly seated as that will certainly lead to a lean run and possible engine damage.
Other than that the actual idle RPM is adjusted from the timing advance shaft on the left side of the motor.
