Loosen the lock nut a few turns. Use a flat screw driver to turn the adjustment screw in the middle of the lock nut. Turn the screw CCW (in the direction the decrease play arrow points) until you feel resistance, turn it back the opposite direction a quarter turn and then turn the lock nut until its tight. This is what I read for my 2000 Rancher ES in the owners manual, but I used it on my 85 fourtrax.
can we adjust the clutch on honda civic 1999
There is no adjustment on a GL1500 clutch.
You can't, it's self adjusting hydraulic clutch.
Honda
You can't aprrently on a hyrdraulic clutch, which these have that adjust automatically.
Check out my bio page for help on adjusting your semi-auto clutch.
It's a fourwheeler.
if the clutch is cable yes there is an adjuster down beside the transmission follow clutch cable
First adjust the knurled adjuster at the lever all the way in then adjust the cable at the lower end until there is 1/2" or so of free play at the lever.
If there is a hydraulic master cylinder at the clutch lever (looks like the front brake) then...NO.
Follow the clutch cable to the transmission where there is like a not to turn up or down depending on how you need to adjust the clutch. Just can not remember which way to turn for what maybe someone else will add that part
Clutch is not adjustable. I would recommend changing the brake fluid in the clutch system and bleed the air out of it. If it continues to cause problems, rebuild the clutch master cylinder. Bob
