It is a hydraulic clutch. No adjustment. Can bleed air out of the system to get it working again. If you need info on that I will supply it as soon as you ask again that you want to know how to bleed the clutch on an escort zx2
yes yes
you can adjust it by the clutch fork. there are are 2 nuts pinching it in place
There is no way 2 adjust the clutch. The only way is 2 replace them. Clutch & pressure plate & throw out bearing, replace them all in one shot!!
this engine is a non interfearance if the timing belt breaks the vaulve will not be damaged
i think the clutch pedal should be the same as a 94 escort where it would be around 2.5 inches wide and 2 inches tall
Check under the driver's seat, if there is a little amp there. you have premium sound
First adjust the knurled adjuster at the lever all the way in then adjust the cable at the lower end until there is 1/2" or so of free play at the lever.
The clutch and brake cylinder share a common fluid reservoir.
The clutch on a Kawasaki Bayou 300 can be adjusted with the use of the 2 adjusting screws. Turn them clockwise to tighten the clutch and counterclockwise to loosen the clutch.
cam shaft pulley mark to head /crank shaft pulley mark to oil pump housing mark
see my profile. yes, 1/2 inch free play.
To adjust the cable just go 1/2 way down the clutch cable and pull the rubber over the adjuster. loosten the lock nut and adjust the cable so there is about 1/8" free play at the handle.
