toyota 4 ton
yes its a two ton have one in my shop right now doing brakes on it.
Answeri need help nowwwwIt could either be a heavy half (more than 1/2 but not quite 3/4) or a full 3/4 from my understanding.*It is a 1 ton truck frame with 3/4 ton brakes* The brakes are way undersized=That is why The van eats through brakes=I tried to change them to 1 ton and ran into a whole bunch of problems. Mine is a 93' G2500 Vandura.
U don't u pay a professional,brakes are not for amateur mechanics
1 ton models come w/ 8ft. bed, larger rear drum brakes, the 4x4 rear gearset, HD rear shocks and springs, a revised brake master cylinder, a larger radiator, higher rated tires, and a standard hitch. I don't think they made extended cab versions, only standard cab 2wd. The half ton has a payload of 1,500 lbs, the 1 ton 4,000 lbs. The half ton has a tow rating of 5,000 lbs, the 1 ton 7,500 lbs.
I don't remember 1985 Chevy 1/2 ton pickupshaving rear disc brakes. It should be a drum brake in the rear and disc brakes in front.
The Toyota Four Seasons motorhome was the only coach manufacturer to make a Slide out with the Toyota 1-ton chassis.

Most will. The smaller ones - typically built on 1 ton van chassis - will not.
Adjust the kickdown
YOU CAN"T, There is NO adjustment, Time to replace the clutch
I want to haul fire wood, but the half ton I have won't even have a full bed without rubbing the tires.
