I don't remember 1985 Chevy 1/2 ton pickupshaving rear disc brakes. It should be a drum brake in the rear and disc brakes in front.
How do I release the frozen brakes on the drum of a 1965 Chevy 3/4 ton pickup
Yes, but never trust them to work. Every six thousand miles the drums should be pulled off and brakes cleaned and adjusted. That is when the tires are off for a rotate anyhow.

Most likely a 14 bolt
NONE!!!!!! For a half ton. To weak. Need 3/4 ton or better.
If they are both 10 bolt, which means that 10 bolts holding on the rear end cover, and have 8.5" diameter ring gear.
The HOUSINGS are the same, But the gear ratio is probley different.

no way, car rear ends are alot smaller then truck rear ends. it will not work.
