Loosen the clutch adjustment lock nut. This is found on the side of the crankcase, with two arrows in either direction marked increase and decrease play. The word "play" is in the middle between the arrows. You must turn the clutch adjusting screw in the middle counterclockwise until resistance is felt. Then turn it back clockwise one quarter of a turn. At this point, tighten the lock nut. Torque 22 N.m or 2,2 kg - m or 16 ft.-lb. Now you can start the engine and check for proper clutch adjustment.
200x is the sportier of the two. It has a manual clutch and chain driven. 250sx (there was no 200sx) is more of a sport/utility trike. It has an auto clutch and shaft drive.

You can't, it's self adjusting hydraulic clutch.
You can't aprrently on a hyrdraulic clutch, which these have that adjust automatically.

I have a 1987 Honda 200sx and it does between 50 and 55 stock
First adjust the knurled adjuster at the lever all the way in then adjust the cable at the lower end until there is 1/2" or so of free play at the lever.
