There is a hexagon nut on the compensator yoke,this is where the cable meet near the axle. The manual calls for you to pull the handbrake on 4 clicks,then adjust the nut,checking the rear wheels until you can just rotate them by hand. You should now really remove the rear drums and check that the cam which moves the brake shoes,is just contacting the shoe web through it's locating hole.This is to ensure no lost movement or uneven operation.When the drums are back on,test the brakes,the manual calls for them to be fully locked by 8 notches.
