Failure of the windshield wipers on your Audi coupe can be linked to only a few possible causes. The first being that the motor that drives the wipers has failed and needs replacing. If the motor is good check all electrical connections for the motor and be sure it's properly grounded and receiving power. If the problem isn't the motor itself or the connections check to see if you have blown a fuse or fuse relay for the motor as this is the last of three possible causes of the failure.
They are headlight washers. When the headlghts are on pull the windshield washer switch. It activates both windshield and headlight washers.
Well, for one your Audi should have a manuel that tells you the basics, like where the fuze box is, what lighs mean, etc. This also includes how to change the window wipers. Look it up. If you dont have one, then you culd try this. Pull up your window wiper so its sticking up in the air. Look at the very tip, and about 2 inches down there should be a crack. Pull up on the this tip part Very hard, but hold the bottom so you dont break anything. Its really hard to get off, but eventually it ill slip straight off and that will allow acess to the wipers.
The fuse box for the 1996 Audi Cabriolet is under the hood on the driver's side in the area where the windshield wipers are (behind and above the cowl). It's right in the corner of driver's side. Snap open the top cover, slide to the right out of hinges and remove fuse cover.
