Type your answer here... take it to a dealer.they are harder than you think to adjust without the knowledge, and it they are set out of wack.they can really do some engine damage and make it almost impossible to start.oh and it'll have three times the engine noise.I have these adjusted by a Yamaha dealer(delmarva power sports is where I took mine)and it wasn't to expensive. It costed me only $115 including labor plus $11.50 for shp supplies(all together $126.50)
I need to know how to adjust the valves on a 2008 yfz 450.
valve settings on a 2008 yamaha ttr 125
No such thing as a yfz 650
With great difficulty
YFZ 450 has 39hp
70mph
They are on the top of your battery
K&n
2003
I heard the Suzuki has more top end speed but the YFZ is quicker
With the engine at TOP DEAD CENTER (TDC) Adjust the exhuast valve to .007 and the intake to .005.
the yfz 450 is not that fastest quad, Its not far from the top but raptors have more top speed. there is no 250 that will stand up to a yfz 450 stock
