One way to to merge another question into the question as an alternate. The answer for each alternate will be added to the answer already their. The ability to merge questions together is one of the extra tools given to supervisors.
You shouldn't need to be a member to answer questions on the site. If the question is already answered, it could be protected, which would prevent some people from adding to it, but unanswered questions should be able to be answered by anyone.

Alternatively, remember the category you placed the question into, and browse that category. The latter is not reliable, however, because questions can be recategorized.
