DO NOT SAY, "im sorry you felt that way" as its emplying as its them that's the problem. Tell them you are sorry that you left them out, Hurt them ect. and keep it as sincere and polite as possible. they may forgive you but if not, give it some time. If they continue to ignore you after you have given them time or abuse you, seek help.
