When you see her simply introduce yourself and try talking with her for a minute. Let her know you don't have much time at the moment but would she mind if you called her sometime and if she answers positively ask her for her number - if for some reason she has an excuse that seems negative just thank her and tell her it was nice meeting her and leave.

The "ideal" way, in my opinion, to get a girls number. Is to make up a reasonable explanation for getting her number, and briefly explaining it.
Such as:
"Hey, you were pretty great, maybe we can find each other after school and hang out."
Number get!
Or - lets say you need to coordinate something between you two, such as rides, hang out, etc. There are plenty of easy excuses to snag a girl's number.
And if anything, you can just "ask." That works quite a bit if it's not gone about in an awkward fashion. Just a casual, "Ahaha! Hey, there any chance I can grab your number on my way out?" before you leave the girl.
Things like that will usually get you a girl's number. Best of luck!
