I don't know why so many people feel that the guy has to make the move. It's a two-way street. There's no right or wrong way really, but it's best just to get him alone, preferably in person where you can see each other or at least over the phone and hear each others voice. If you two are friends, start off the convo about something that happened at school, or even homework. Once the conversation's started and it's getting kind of quiet, just take the initiative and ask them if you can ask a neutral question. Guys aren't able to see the vague hints or questions usually, so go for the gold and say, "how would you feel if we hung out together, just the two of us, like a date?" For some reason, guys are afraid at first of commitment. If you phrase it like this, he won't feel pressured to be the father of your children, and you can both see what it's like to be alone together. If he says he'd prefer it to be as friends, then he's either not ready for a relationship no matter how casual, or he's not interested like that.

ā 12y agoTell them how you really feel! There is no wrong or right answer. And if you tell the truth and that's not what she wants to hear and dumps you, well then shes not for you. The best part for keeping a relationship together is to be honest and truthful. If you have to lie to make here happy, then shes' not worth it.(There are some situations where you do have to lie. ex-"Does this dress make me look fat?" "No! Not at all") Always tell the truth, and if you know that she won't like what your gonna say, then you have to say it softly and gently. (Use big words you both probably didn't know existed and if she asked, say o ur so silly! You, always joking! And give a little fake laugh.)
