Mom, can I get a different type of tampon? Easy enough.

I agree with the above answer. Remenber, your mum once went through pubity herself! So ask her, learn from her experience!
All you have to do is ask your mom to buy a different type of tampon - it's no more complicated than that, it's just like asking her for a different type of toothpaste or shower gel. You could also always go shopping for yourself and buy your own tampons, or at least help her with grocery shopping and just put the tampons you want in the basket. There's no reason to make this into a big deal, it's just tampons.
"Look, mom, this is obviously awkward, because I'm your daughter, but no daughter would EVER wanna have to talk about this, but I'm just gonna say it: Because I need to and am not (obviously) six or younger, I need to go tampon shopping. Any questions?" ~ say that ~ hope it helps =) ~
Well, it is a embarassing thing. I would try and tell yourself that you really wanna know, girls want to feel fresh when they start their periods! Its the same for people who have just started. So, asking is nerve-racking I know, but if you never ask, how will you stay fresh?
Once you have your *period* your mom will give you a pad or tampon. She will tell you all about the period.
Go ask your mom. I did last night.
ask your mom for help!! :)
I don't know ask your mom :D
Type your answer here... ask your mom
No they do not, or they really shouldn't. A tampon is something you use when you have your menstrual cycle, do not use them unless you have to, for more info. you can ask your mom or a doctor, ect. you put it in yourself, by yourself.
You ask your friend to ask his/her mom to meet your mom.
ask your mom she plays lots of games with me :)
At your mom's! Who ask that type of question? I could only think of a stalker!
All you do is ask your mom to get you higher absorbency tampons, or go with her to the store to get some for yourself. Just remember that if the tampon isn't full after 4-6 hours then you need to switch back down to a lower absorbency. You can also use pads as back-up if you find your tampons are leaking too soon and just change tampons sooner.
