Prop the tailgate all the way open. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry back the black clip-band at the attachment points; you don't have to pull the clip all the way off, just enough to be able to pull the strut off the ball. The new strut just pushes onto the ball, and clips in place. You do not have to pry the clip to attach the new strut.
Also called "A" arms. they are out at each from wheel and attach to the strut by way of the ball joint.
You will need to compress the strut spring with a spring compressor. When the strut spring is compressed remove the strut retaining bolts. There is a strut retaining bolt on the top and the bottom of the strut assembly. Reverse the process to install the new strut.

Remove the bolt on the botton of the Strut. Detach the steering Knuckle. Remove the three nuts on top and remove the strut from the car. Do not try and disamble the strut without a spring compresor. Get a whole new strut. Good luck
