Most "autographed photos" of The Beatles are fakes, signed by one of their road managers (Neil Aspinall and Mal Evans) or other assistants. The band themselves were usually too busy to fulfill every request, so the job was handed off to others.
Vintage photographs can not only be collectible, but also family heirlooms. If you want to authenticate them you need to properly describe the photograph. If it is truly vintage call it that if not make sure that people know that as well.

It would be extremely hard to authenticate. I don't imagine any of them (or their estates) would submit to DNA testing, just for that. I imagine McCartney and Starr value the hair on their heads, more than any other.
