The main thing to remember about James Bond is that he is not a womaniser. Ian Flemming's original character suffered abandonment issues, which is why he frequently has intercourse with numerous women, and does not pursue a longer relationship.

Besides that, its all about being suave. Bond, as a character, is cool, calculating, and never gives away more than he needs to. The character never deliberately makes a scene, or hits on women, unless he needs to. Its all about being cool, and not over doing it. Suits are not required, but a decent sense of style will help. Bond is never seen in jeans, but on occasion has wore hawaiian shirts, with dress pants.
