The requirements to be a special investigator for the Philippine national bureau of investigation are- graduate of a 4 year bachelors degree, holder of civil service professional eligibility, must pass physical, medical and other initial requirements of the training division.
Please note that it appears the NBI has stopped processing as of 2008/3009 applications for special investigators. The NBI is only processing applications for investigation agents which are either licensed attorneys or certified public accounts in good standing.
