You need to study the best friend and see why your friend like that person best. Just like brothers/sisters, a person can have more than one best friend. You need to figure out what your friend's best friend does really well and try to copy that if you want to be a best friend too. Is s/he thoughtful? Is s/he kind? Does s/he always pay the check? You can too. Remember to not be jealous and focus on improving your friendship skills so that you can become a best friend.
