Buy a Stinkberry from Meowth. Some pokemon may try to attack it so do it quickly. Bring the berry to the giant tree where Snorlax is sleeping and eating. Walk up to him, talk to him, he'll take your Stinkberry, and you'll become friends. If you want Munchlax to become your friend, here's how. He likes Stinkberries too. Go to Cove Town, pick up a Stinkberry from the tree near the grass area. Or from Meowth. Again, so pokemon may try to attack it, like Pansage, Pansear and Panpour so stay away from them. Take your stinky Stinkberry to Munchlax. He says he's been looking for purple berries. That's Stinkberries. Say yes to give it to him and he'll pick it up, and won't even chew it. He'll eat it whole. Then he'll become your friend. Simple as that! Hope this helped! :o)
