Alot of people say that you must be yourself which I believe is not at all wrong.If you just want to be friends nothing more nothing less,show him the side you would show to your best friend. Be open with him and show him that you have nothing to hide at all. That way you're making him aware of all your intentions.Even if you have something you're hiding from him, he'll never know as long as you give him that impression.

∙ 11y agoYou can come to be really good friends with a guy by being there for him all the time and listening to his problems. Men don't normally talk to each other about their emotins a lot and when they have a girl they think they can trust they will spill their guts. Start off with heys or hi's if you dont really know the person that well. then just start talking. make random converstaion. COMPLIMENT HIM, this is the greatest way ever ever ever in the history of women understanding men to flatteer them. If you flatter them they'll want to stay around you and be your freind. Simple as that. Then they'll get to know you (an amazing person I'm sure). When you talk to guys they can be a lot more emotional and kind then you'd expect. For guys friends who are girls can be trusted very easily and become a big part of their life. Just ask them to hang out a bunch and i dont mean hanging out at victoria secret or the fluffy bunny store. you have to compromise, so getting Frozen Yogurt together on a saturrday afternoon just to chat is a great way. Just let a guy know they can trust you and you'll be bffs with him in no time.
