It depends on the characters you are good at. I would recommend high jump characters because taboo moves around a lot. Speedy characters like sonic would help to.
And when he uses the 'Shockwave' attack that instant KOs and is hard to Dodge, well the only way to dodge it is to (Gamcube Controller) Hold the analog stick down and press R when a shockwave comes to you. Tiem it perfectly and you will not be hurt.
