You would have to be able to prove that the inspection sticker is not fraudulent, otherwise there is no way to beat it.

If she violated the court order by writing you a letter then SHE is in contempt of court. File a motion for a hearing before a judge and present the letter as evidence. If the new boyfriend beat you up - file an assault report with law enforcement, or swear out a warrant against him, and have him arrested.

It depends on what the statute of limitations is for your jurisdiction. Two years is typically the shortest time frame. If you haven't reached the appropriate time frame for the local laws, you can't 'beat' the charge. And if you have already been charged, the time stops. Consult a criminal attorney.
