To get the map piece :
- Get the cracker from Petey's Pub and go to the Trading Post where the parrot is sitting.
- The parrot will say "Squaawk! Jump in the sea, then come and find me." (go into the water by your ship, and swim ashore)
- When you return, he is on the left upper window of the Trading post. Now he will say "Squaawk! Clog the vent, then see where I went."
- Jump atop the ash screen on the chimney of Petey's Pub, to partly stop the smoke.
- Now the parrot is on a palm tree at far right, and will direct you to see its owner, a pirate atop the tall tower near the dock, saying "Squaawk! To the old tower go, and find a pirate I know."
- Go to see the pirate, who will ask you to retrieve his parrot. Return to the rooftop of the Trading Post, and lure the parrot down with the cracker. Lead him to the tower and receive the map piece from the pirate.

Nothing, until you have the Phoenix Warbird and beat Captain Crawfish. There is nothing there to see or do at all. You are thrown in to a deep battle and will, hopefully, win. Then you go back to Fort Ridley and talk to the governor. He will give you a shovel and directions to where the treasure is hidden. You go to the island and uncover the treasure, only to have Captain Crawfish arrive (the governor's aide is a traitor). Fortunately, your crew will come and save you, to defeat him once and for all.

How do you get the buried treasure on Skullduggery Island?
The buried treasure is the final part of the island. It is on the hidden island (Skullduggery) but you can only get it with the Location Card and Bone Shovel that you get from the Governor. Once you combine all five map pieces, and defeat Captain Crawfish in battle, you can go to the Governor to get the exact location, then travel there to dig it up.

Captain Crawfish is defeated in battle on Skullduggery island, but appears again as a character on Super Villain Island (2012). He spends all but a tiny part of the island asleep.
