I recommend searching for a walkthrough on Google as people don't want to waste their time to type a walkthrough for one temple, then they rather type a walkthrough for the whole game game. Oh, and BTW, how come you're stuck at the first temple? If you're a beginner, I don't recommend playing this game as it is one of the hardest games of the Legend of Zelda series.
In "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening," you can find the five golden leaves in the Tail Cave area. They are located in the following spots: one is guarded by a Moblin near the entrance to the castle; the second is in the grass by the castle moat; the third is in a tree in the castle's courtyard; the fourth is hidden in a bush near the castle's back entrance; and the fifth is obtained by defeating the enemies in the castle's east wing. Collecting all five leaves will help you progress in the game.
