You have to locate items and clues on how to use the items. You will find a glass, three long funnels that look like Golf tees, and two scraps of paper. The papers provide a computer password. The funnels (one is under the cage) go in the three receptacles connected to the pipe that feeds the bird's cage (red valve). You can fill the glass with water, to water the plant, which gives you an orange. You can place the glass next to the juicer and use the orange to fill it with juice. The three colored wall panels tell you that the three funnels should be filled with: 1) water twice, 2) Orange Juice twice, and 3) a mix of water and orange juice. When fed the right three liquids, the bird chirps.

The computer password (121946) opens a series of files that yield the combination to the large safe. The clues are 1:5, 2:2, and 4:9. These are the 1st, 2nd, and 4th numbers, so you have to try every combination of 52x9 -- the one that works is 5289. Open the second level by using the colors from the computer screen: green-orange-blue-yellow-brown. The small safe inside is opened by the bird's three chirps: 3-1-5. This yields the key that unlocks the door.
