there are lots of ways to earn money, or bells as they call them.
you can sell any fish or bugs you catch. you can sell the shells from the beach. you can sell all the fruit from the trees.
another good way is to shake all the other trees in your town, some of them will drop money from them and others will drop furniture you can sell! some even have insects hiding in them like Spiders and bees!
you can also bang all the rocks in your town with your shovel. one of these rocks will be lucky and will throw money out at you. if you keep hitting the rock, you will get more money! keep hitting the rock till the money runs out.
check your recycling bin and the lost property daily, they might have new things for you to take away and sell!
also, dig in the ground where the ground looks uneven. this will result in you either getting fossils or strange ornaments out of the ground that you can either sell or put to the museum!
you can also shoot down presents that are floating in the sky with your slingshot! sell the presents you get!
