Normally, you cannot be appointed a Senior Supervisor without in the first instance being a supervisor. A senior supervisor or 'seasoned' Supervisor - is responsible for a top-level category working and coordinating with all Category Supervisors within that top category area.
After time (which is normally minimum 12 months service on the site), track record of dedication, experience as a supervisor and keeping within the guidelines and supervisors code of conduct, you may then become eligible to be considered for selection as Senior Supervisor on Answers.com. The decision is made by the Senior Community Team in conjunction with the Community Assistants. Answers.com staff are normally assigned Senior Supervisor status since they are employees of the company.
