To become a Cog, you will need a Cog disguise! You can earn your first disguise by defeating 10 factory foremens in Sellbot Headquarters. The next three are obtained by completing some tasks after/during Donald's Dreamland.

At the moment, Toontown hasn't given toons the ability to "become a cog". You CAN, however, dress up in a cog SUIT, once you have collected enough Sellbot, Cashbot, Lawbot, or Bossbot suit parts. You can start collecting the Sellbot parts right away, but you need to get to Donald's Dreamland before you can start completing Toontasks to collect the Cashbot, Lawbot, and Bossbot suit parts. :) You can only wear your cog suit in the Sellbot, Cashbot, Lawbot, or Bossbot lobbies. Currently, there is no possible way to become a cog on toontown. You can only wear a cog disguise. To get your Sellbot disguise, you have to go through the factory 10 times. To get your Cashbot Disguise, you have to do tasks in Donald's Dreamland. To get your Lawbot Disguise, you have to do task in The Brrgh. To get your Bossbot Disguise, you have to destroy every Bossbot cog, starting from Flunky, and working to Big Cheese, then destroy some v 2.0 cogs, then Flippy gives you the last piece. On toontown how do you be friends with a cog?
In order to be friends with a cog, you have to click on the New Friends button in the friends box. Then, click on a cog. He will usually say no but if you are lucky, he will say yes. BTW, Yesmen don't ALWAYS say yes even though their name is a Yesman. And if you become friends with a cog and teleport to him, you will mostly get in a fight with him(battle) and when you log in again, the cog might not be on friends list because he died.
