Being a missionary which is always true, is something that is a responsibility to all Christians. A missionary is simply someone who tells or shares their faith with someone else or helps someone less fortunate then they are. This is a thing that anyone should do no matter where they do it whether it be in the local town, the whole nation, or a far away country, they should all be doing it for the glory of God.
First of all, it doesn't matter if you are attracted to a Mormon Missionary or not because he is most likely not gay, and if he were, he would have to live a celibate lifestyle in order to remain a member of the Church. Also, missionaries are not allowed to date or have any sort of romantic relationship. If you are trying to decide if you are really interested in the Church and it's teachings, or if you just like it because he is telling you about it, there are several things you can do. My first suggestion would be to pray. God knows all things, and He will let you know if the Church is really true or not. Sincerely ask Him for help in the matter, and you will receive it! If the Church is true, then you are obviously attracted to the Church, not just the missionary. Second, you could continue studying about the Church until this missionary is transferred to another city, and see if you are still interested in the Church when another missionary is teaching you.

Church missions began as soon as the church was founded. The first missionaries were the disciples and the apostle Paul, who went out and preached the gospel to the world. Paul traveled through many foreign countries to share the good news. Answer: That first missionary trip made by Paul was a milestone in the spread of true Christianity. The book St. Paul's Journeys in the Greek Orient calls it "the real beginning of the Christian mission and of . . . Paul's missionary career." It adds: "Lying at the meeting-place of the sea routes leading to Syria, Asia Minor, and Greece, Cyprus seemed the inevitable first stage of a missionary venture."
