With the engine running, remove the fuse or the relay for the fuel pump. The engine will stall soon and the fuel line won't have any pressure left.
Cycle the ignition switch a few times from off to on, it will bleed itself.
While engine is running remove the fuel pump fuse. Engine will run out of fuel when pressure drops.
Possibly a kinked, broken, or disconected fuel line.
The 1994 S10 has a fuel pressure regulator located in the throttle body.
A 1995 S10 with the 4.3 L TBI requires 41 to 47 psi fuel pressure.

To relieve the fuel pressure on a Chevrolet S10, the fuel pump relay should first be removed. Then, the engine should be startedand run until it stalls.
You will need a fuel pressure guage. On the s10 there is a schrader valve on the fuel feel line behind the throttle body - look for the line leading to the fuel rail and follow it back to the valve . The guage will screw onto that valve . then crank the engine and look for 45 to 60lbs of pressure when cranking .
The fuel pump is kaput.
There is no 2001 S10 with a V4 engine.
