more than likely the brake system has air in it. bleed the system,
The bleed valve on a 2000 Chrysler Sebring is located on the top of each brake caliper. It allows air to be purged from the system to ensure maximum braking power.
why do brakes and abs lights come on 2002 safari van?
It sounds like you need to bleed the system of air.
how do i bleed my accord v6 2000 coolant system, its has air and the rev's gone up & down......
DOT 3 brake fluid.
there is a bleeder valve on the right side of the tranny that is where you can bleed your system
No, you do not. If you change the caliper, you will have to bleed that brake line. Have someone press on the brake pedal. Open the bleed valve, while they continue to hold the pedal. Close the valve. Repeat 3 times. We did it 4 times, but 3 should do it. Works great!
You may have to find ashop with an ABS Scanner, I don't think auto zone is equipped for this There is a problem with the abs system. Take the truck to auto zone and have them scann for a code..
To bleed the brakes on a 2000 Toyota Tundra, first pump the brakes, then loosen the drain plug on the master cylinder and pump another 3 to 6 times. Tighten the plug and add brake fluid.
At the master cylinder... its located to your right as you pop the hood... just take the lid off and fill it up... Dont press on the brake while the cap is off or else you will be filling the brake system with air, and that means you will end up having to bleed the brakes.
The 2000 Beetle has a hydraulic clutch, which is self-adjusting. It's not self-BLEEDING, though, so if it feels real mushy you first figure out where it's leaking--air's getting in there somewhere--fix the leak, then bleed it like it was a brake system.
