It's not compressed air in the system - if you do have air in your AC system, then it means you probably have a leak on the vacuum (low pressure) side of your system. You need an EPA certified shop to recover and store the refrigerant. Discharging it into the atmosphere is not only illegal, but very dangerous.

Why is the superheated vapor from the condenser is higher than the superheated vapor going into the compressor?

becaause it was just compressed by the compressor and is the high side of the system before the tex valve

Can AC Clutch be replaced without physically removing the Compressor on 1997 Mercury Sable?

The AC clutch cannot be replaced without physically removing the compressor on a 1997 Mercury Sable. The compressor and magnetic plate must be removed before you can access the clutch.

How do you discharge ac compressor before removing it?

You need a certified shop to do this. You cannot legally perform this operation on your own.

Is compressed air toxic to humans and wild life?

Not unless it was toxic before compression, or has become toxic due to something released by the pressure vessel or the compressor.

How can you remove an aircondition compressor without losing the refrigerant?

Before removing the compressor from a refrigerator or other appliances, you must 'reclaim' the refrigerant. This is done by connecting a compressor-pump on the access connection and pumping the refrigerant into an approved storage tank. once the refrigerant is out of the system, you crimp & cut the lines going into the compressor. There will be compressor lube in the compressor; don't spill it or let it leak out.

What is bleeding of turbine?

Bleed air in gas turbine engines is compressed air taken from within the engine, after the compressor stage(s) and before the fuel is injected in the burner

How do you remove an air conditioning compressor on a 2000 Jeep Cherokee?

You don't! You have neither the tools nor the expertise to do this. It is illegal to release refrigerant into the atmosphere. Take it to a professional so that the refrigerant can be captured before removing the compressor.

Where do you gap a spark plug on a 1998 Ford Expedition?

0.052-0.056 in. make sure the engines cold when removing the plugs on this engine, this is an aluminum head and thread damage is common. also have compressed air handy to blow the dirt and debris out of the plug wells before removing the plugs.

How do you change an ac compressor on a 1995 mercury sable it doesnt have any freon in it so no evac eqt needed and a friend has the eqpt to pressurize it once I get this installed.?

This is not a DIY job. It is illegal to release refrigerant into the atmosphere. Special equipment must be used to purge the system before removing and re-installing the compressor. The new compressor and system must then be charged correctly with refrigerant and oil. Take it to a professional.

Who invented the compressed air tank for paint ball?

What is a compressor stall and surge in a jet engine?

A compressor stall occurs when there is a disruption to the flow of air in the engine compressor. A jet engine is driven by pulling large volumes of air into the inlet. Some of this air is bypassed around the engine core, and some enters the core. Air that enters the core is compressed considerably in stages (compressed more and more as air travels toward the back) before it is mixed with fuel, ignites, and expands out the rear of the engine. A compressor stall occurs when the pressure of air entering the engine drops below the pressure in the compressor or air within the compressor drops momentarily as a result of stalling air (disruption in air pressure). When this happens the compressed air expands and travels toward the area of less pressure (toward the front and out the back). This happens quite fast and can be explosive. In fact, many people who are lucky enough to be on a plane when a compressor stall occurs may first believe a bomb went off. When a compressor stalls momentarily (often goes unnoticed by pilots or passengers) this is known as a compressor stall. An engine surge occurs when the compressor completely looses compression and the explosive effect is herd. Compressor stalls and surges where more prominent in older jet engines. Fortunately, compressor stalls or surges are extremely rare, and don't cause harm to the engine or plane. A compressor stall often will correct itself as soon as the flow of air in the engine is restored. Often times the corrective action by the pilots is to reduce engine power till the engine stabilizes. Today, with the use of Computer Aided Design (CAD), improved engine design and understanding this problem has virtually vanished.
