Chrome doesn't have a built in way to block sites. However, there are third party Chrome extensions such as Chrome Nanny which do block sites. These can be found in the Google webstore.

You cannot block websites via Google Chrome internal's browsers. You can only do it by 3rd party apps in web store.
To block websites from google chrome or to make safer searches go to google's control setting and ask for safe settings to be set at maximum search safety.
If you're using Google Chrome (and who in their right mind isn't?), you can quickly download AdBlock (free on chrome) and you can block not just adverts but just about anything you want :-)

Okay, so there is a software on my computer that keeps opening google chrome on its own to its website and i want to make it so that the software can never open to that website. It depends on preference. I personally love chrome because of new layout compared to just the regular page. Also, chrome gives suggestions for sites if you are unsure exactly what you are looking for.
