How do you block the vent on Skullduggery Island?

Stand on the chimney of Petey's Pub at Parrot Port, to partly block the smoke. This will satisfy the pesky parrot, who will go to the palm tree at far right.

(*the ash screen there is new and was added after the island opened)

This is the second part of the parrot chase. When you first see it at the trading post, it tells you to go jump into the sea. When you return, it is on a higher window and tells you to block the vent. Once you do that, the parrot appears at the palm tree at the far right.

You should get the cracker from inside the Pub (upper left) before you go to see the pirate at the tower near the beach. Once you talk to the pirate, use the cracker and the parrot will come there. When the pirate gets the parrot back, he gives you the map piece for parrot Port.

At Parrot Port, the frustrating parrot wants you to block a smoking vent on the rooftops. Stand or crouch on the chimney until most of the smoke stops. Now you will find the parrot atop a palm tree to the far right. You may want to go inside the Pub and get the Cracker from the barrel at upper left. You will use it presently.

After you listen to the parrot and jump into the water, you find the parrot on top of the trading post. When the parrot says to "clog the vent" he means the smoking chimney on Petey's Pub. You don't have to stop it completely. You will know if it worked if you find the parrot in the palm tree to the far right.
