It could be boredom; perhaps you have come to realize there is no future with him and you want more in a relationship or perhaps you simply do not love him any longer and want your freedom to date others. The only way to break up is to be honest with your boyfriend and tell him you cannot stay with him living a lie. When you love someone you do not want to leave them so the love has gone out of your relationship.
