Make sure all the sanding residue is removed. Use soap and water then rinse twice or three times, drying in between. Finally, use a countertop polish specifically meant for corian and apply a lot of it either by hand or with a clean towel wrapped around a sander set at low speed. Wipe off this first coat then spray down the counter with more polish and let soak in for at least 4 hours. Then wipe and buff to a shine.

Corian countertops are very good products and seem to be quite durable. They are usually custom made which means no seams and come in thousands of colors. The con would be that the newest fad is stone or granite and corian cannot be made to look like those products.
