How do you build a working trailer on the Sims 2 PC?

You can build a trailer just as you can build any other houses.

1)Start out by building a foundation that is however big you want your trailer.

2)Build your walls around the edges of the foundation.

3) Add your windows and doors.

4)You will see a wooden platform on the outside which leads from the door. Go into the flooring section and find a floor. Cover the platform that leads from the door with it and then add an extra one next to or in front of the one leading from your door. You will build steps on this. You can also go into the foundations section in the build section and add a foundation or porch under the 2 floor tiles that you just laid. If you want a bigger porch, simply add more floor tiles. (Larger porches will REQUIRE you to have either a foundation or porch underneath to support it.)

5)Go into the building section and find the modular stairs (These are NOT the premade staircases, these are on the lower section of the menu and have a rail symbol next to the stair symbol).

6)Click on the stairs and find whatever ones you want to use. Click on the stairs of your choice and place your mouse over the platform that you recently built by your door. You should see a set of steps lead down from the platform. You can move them around the platform to lead from whatever direction you would like.

7)After this, you can click on the rail icon in the stairs menu and add your railings. You trailer is pretty much built, just add your inner walls, doors, flooring, etc. to make it look like a trailer. There are quite a few wall coverings that you can use to make your building appear to be a trailer. You can also add fences around your porch to make railings.
