You can't.
USUALLY 2 ONE IS A SENSOR (IN FRONT OF CAT CONVERTER) THE OTHER IS A MONITER (AFTER CAT CONVERTER) THIS SENSOR monitersCATALYTIC CONVERTER EFFIcency
It is ILLEGAL to remove the Catalytic Converter without replacing it with a new one.It is ILLEGAL to remove the Catalytic Converter without replacing it with a new one.
in front of the cat converter
Check engine light will come on due to bad readings from oxygen sensor after cat
Theres usually a oxygen sensor around or even inside the cat so when you remove the cat it causes codes to be sent to your computer and your check engine light will come on. That's the only effect it has on the sensor.
One is before the cat. converter and one is between the cat. converter and the exhaust mainifold.
absolutely it will have more power however it wont pass the smog If it is a 1996 or later model the computer will try to adjust for the incorrect oxygen sensor readings ,due to the missing cat. This can and will hurt power and economy. Plus it is very illegal to remove a catalytic converter.
The sensor will be at the rear of the catalytic converter so that it can read hydrocarbon levels of the exhaust as it exits the converter.
No, it will cause the after cat oxygen sensor to send an incorrect reading to the computer. Federal law prohibits their removal anyway.
there is one after the cat converter and there is an intake sensor in front of the motor.
Bank 2 is the drivers side (side where cylinder 2 is located) of the engine and sensor 2 is the O2 sensor that is post/past the Cat converter.. sensor 1 is pre-cat converter. And Bank one is passenger side (side where cylinder one is located) and O2 sensors 1 and 2 are same sequence as in bank 2... Sensor 1 is pre cat and sensor 2 is post cat converter..hope this helps..
It's the one after the cat. converter
