Remove the bolts. Its as simple as that!
if you changed the battery of the car recently you might need to get the keys re programed for the cars immobilizer
my 1998 ford fiesta lx zetec wont start againt fuel pump not working or is it the immobilizer how can i tell?..and can i bypass the immobilizer
It's an anti-theft device. It wouldn't be a very good one if it was easy to bypass. So, even if you could, I would not tell you how.
Sadly, there is no method that can be used to bypass immobilizer on Mercedes 190e 2.6. The key needs to transmit the correct information to the DAS module before the engine starts.
You Cant Its built into Engine ECU
In the engine bay, check and clean as necessary all the earth/ground connections between the engine and the body and the battery and the body. You usually dont need to change whole alternator, just regulator.Type depends on the model of your skodahttp://www.nd-skoda-volkswagen.cz/images_zbozi/1288_1.jpg
it's under the battery box....
My vectra is a 1999 S plate and has a factory fitted immobilizer, I think that alarm/ immobilisers were fitted as standard the year after mine.
I would just to be sure
Check the fuses, this happened to mine and it was a fuse under the glove box.
